What inspection methods satisfy API 1104 acceptance?
Radiographic testing (RT/DR) is the traditional method; API 1104 also permits AUT (automated ultrasonic testing) as an alternative to radiography when performed to a qualified procedure, and its Annex A allows alternative, ECA-based (engineering critical assessment) acceptance criteria where the project specifies them.
