An audit does not look at the weld — it looks at the procedure, the film and the record. Prime’s Level IIIs review all three: the NDT and welding procedures a project is inspected to, the radiographic film and digital images behind the accept and repair calls, and the inspection records an operator has to stand behind.
The review is independent of whoever performed the original inspection, and every finding is read against the code and acceptance criteria your specification names.
Three reviews, one Level III standard
Procedure review
NDT and welding procedures read against the code and acceptance criteria your project specification names — API 1104, ASME Section V and Section IX, ASME B31, AWS D1.1 — with conflicts, omissions and unqualified variables written up.
Film review
Independent Level III review and re-interpretation of radiographic film and digital (CR/DR) images, against the acceptance criteria of the governing code — including film shot by someone else.
PHMSA audit review
Level III review of inspection records and procedures to help an operator prepare for a PHMSA audit: what the records actually show, what is missing, and where the documentation will not support the call that was made.

Film review, without pulling boxes
Legacy radiographic film can be digitized first, then reviewed on screen.
If the film sits in storage, we can convert it to full-resolution DICONDE digital images indexed to job, line and weld — then our Level III reviews the images against the governing code’s acceptance criteria, with the originals never leaving a documented chain of custody.

Are you PHMSA, or PHMSA certified?
